Photo-mycorrhization on some-years-old trees

Mycorrhization

Mycorrhization is a relation which is installed in nature between the truffle and the host plant.The truffle infact is not a parasite plant fungus and the inter-exchange which it creates is positive for both species;the truffle draws sugars and starches from the plant which alone could not produce and the plant thanks to mycorrhization,increases its own radical absorptionwhich allows it to live in difficult environmental and pedological conditions.

Mycorrhization forms on the root apices of the young roots and reproduces by itself thanks both to the mycelium produced by the truffles which when remaining in the ground,decomposethus freeing the spores.

The truffles have their favorite species and are not able to estabilish any mycorrhization contact with other arboreal or herbaceous species.

There are some other mycorrhized fugus which compete often by dominating the truffles;
Already being present in the ground ,they very much prevent or reduce the probability of precious truffles from reproducing and bearing fruit.

The nursery artificially recreates this relation by processing the truffles in order to extract the spores,producing young sterile plants,sterilizing the substratum culture to prevent pollution and carefully following the growth of the young plant until it is controlled,certified and put on the market.
